Last Wednesday, May 13 - Area 3/4 picnic
Over 50 Rotarians came out to the Area 3/4 Spring Picnic at Jim Dietrich Park on May 13th. The rain held out and it was a lovely evening for food and comradery. Each club president shared current club events with the group, and we raised nearly $600 for Helping Harvest through the basket raffle. A big thank you to Kurt Rorhbach for organizing the event and providing education and entertainment through the Berks County trivia contest.
CENTENNIAL SERVICE PROJECTS FOR THE ROTARY SEVEN AREAS OF FOCUS!
A Rotary Peace Pole will be coming to our community as well as a peace poster contest for students in the Kutztown and Brandywine school districts! Look for an unveiling ceremony coming soon!
We have been collecting plastic since last summer and will be placing benches in both the Kutztown and Topton locations this coming year.
Although the NexTrex recycling program has changed, we are going to continue to collect. Please email or text your picture and the weight to Melissa Kirk or Laura McBride to get it recorded at NexTrex.
