Meeting this week
Wednesday, August 7 - Social night at the Kutztown Fair!
 
Let's meet at the Kutztown Fair to spread a little Rotary into the town and to enjoy some camaraderie. Please remember to wear Rotary garb or at least your membership pin. 
 
Grab some food and meet in the beer garden at 6:00 for some Rotary comradery. Stay for music from the Zeptones at 8:00.

Important Announcements or News

Club announcement: The club board endorsed the 100th Anniversary committee's proposal for a legacy gift for Kutztown to be 2 pickleball courts in the Kutztown Community Park. The building of these courts is to start immediately. If you have not already done so, please consider signing up for one of the subcommittees here to help organize the 100-year celebration activities. Subcommittees are asked to meet in August and give reports at or prior to the next main committee meeting planned for September 24.

Please remember that the Taste of Kutztown volunteer dinner at the Market Café in Topton will be on Wednesday, August 14th at 6:00 p.m.  A delicious meal will be served, and we’ll share some of the fantastic results. It is our chance to say “Thank You” for volunteering. BYOB. Cost for members is $18 to help defer costs to the club. 
 
Please spread the word to any TOK volunteers who may have not received the invite.

Last week's meeting
On Wednesday, July 31, we met the new District 7430 District Governor Katie Farrell from the Warminster club. We learned about the exciting things planned for the 2024-2025 Rotary year and she had some good advice for our club for the upcoming year.
