Wednesday, July 31 - Meet the District Governor!
 
Please join us on Wednesday to meet the new District 7430 District Governor Katie Farrell from the Warminster. Com and learn about the exciting things planned for the 2024-2025 Rotary year. 
 
Meet at 6:00 to get a drink from the bar and order dinner at 6:20. Program to start approximately 7:15 in person and via zoom. Follow the link below for the zoom link for the program portion of the meeting.

Reminder for Foundation Board members: There will be a zoom Foundation Board meeting on Tuesday, July 30.

Club announcement: The club board endorsed the 100th Anniversary committee's proposal for a legacy gift for Kutztown to be 2 pickleball courts in the Kutztown Community Park. The building of these courts is to start immediately. If you have not already done so, please consider signing up for one of the subcommittees here to help organize the 100-year celebration activities. Subcommittees are asked to meet in August and give reports at or prior to the next main committee meeting planned for September 24.

The club will be volunteering for the Dinner on Main event which will occur on August 2 from 6:00 to 10:00. We need 20-25 volunteers to help set up/break down tables and chairs (set-up 3:30-5:00 and breakdown 9:00-10:00). Look for link to sign up soon or send an email to Jim Springer.

Besides dinner on main, the next volunteer activities are:
  • Das Auch Fest on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th - contact Bob Hobaugh to volunteer - parking, breakfast, and lunch provided to volunteers
  • Kutztown Day on August 4th - there are 2 shifts and we need approximately 5 people for each - sign up here

Please remember that the Taste of Kutztown volunteer dinner at the Market Café in Topton will be on Wednesday, August 14th at 6:00 p.m.  A delicious meal will be served, and we’ll share some of the fantastic results. It is our chance to say “Thank You” for volunteering. BYOB. Cost for members is $18 to help defer costs to the club.

Last week's meeting
Wednesday, July 24, 2024, was our first club social of the 2024-2025 Rotary year and it was tons of fun!
 
We first went to Gasser's for a sometimes competitive, but always fun, round of mini golf. Later we met up with a few more members at Liberty Tap Room at Dryville. Thank you to President Marie for organizing a very fun Kutztown Club Social Night! Click on the link below to see more pictures from the night.
