This past week for Kutztown Rotary
Sunday, February 1, Kutztown Rotary sponsored the Trinity Kutztown Kitchen event. Thank you to all of the volunteers that came out to help prepare and serve a meal of ham, sweet potatoes and green beans meal to Kutztown community members. Despite the reschedule due to the snow as well as the bitter cold weather, we served 50 meals for eat in or take out.
Wednesday, February 4, was our monthly club assembly where we discussed club business, upcoming events, and service projects. In addition, we inducted 2 new members who have already become integral members of the club. We warmly welcome Bob Brad and Amanda Sufrinko to the club.
We have been collecting plastic since last summer and will be placing benches in both the Kutztown and Topton locations this coming year.
Although the NexTrex recycling program has changed, we are going to continue to collect. Please email or text your picture and the weight to Melissa Kirk or Laura McBride to get it recorded at NexTrex.
Help us celebrate our centennial with a Roaring 20's theme party.
