Meeting last week, Wednesday, July 29, 2026

Members gathered for a fun social night at Capo & Co
A little about the venue: Capo & Co. brings a unique dining experience to the Lehigh Valley. With a pour-your-own beer wall, you’re in control of your own drink adventure. Enjoy top-quality Italian-American fare in a cozy 1920's speakeasy-inspired setting.

Volunteering at Kutztown Day 2026!
Thank you to everyone who helped out at Kutztown Day this year either selling raffle tickets in the booth, collecting donations at the concerts, or running the pickleball clinic. Despite the rain, the day and concerts were wonderful, as usual. Of course, a highlight of the day was the ribbon cutting to dedicate the new pickleball courts the club donated to the Kutztown Community Park to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the Kutztown Rotary Club. A big thank you to our Foundation President Florita, pictured below with Mayor Jimmy Schlegel.

ROTARY SEVEN AREAS OF FOCUS!

February is Peacebuilding & Conflict Prevention
A Rotary Peace Pole will be coming to our community!
Look for an unveiling ceremony at the Bowers Park coming soon!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

March is Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene

We partnered with Help a Girl Out USA in a collection drive throughout February which was sorted and donated in March.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
April is Environmental
We have been collecting plastic since last summer and will be placing benches in both the Kutztown and Topton locations this coming year.
Please email or text your picture and the weight to Melissa Kirk or Laura McBride to get it recorded at NexTrex.
Although we had 4 entries in the Q2 drawing we did not win a prize in the drawing. But we did recycle a lot of plastic and did a bit of good for the environment!
