This past week for Kutztown Rotary
Kutztown Rotary Meeting last Wednesday,
January 7th - Student of the Month!

Last Wednesday, January 7th, members of the Kutztown Rotary Club celebrated the Student of the Month ceremony. One student from each of Kutztown Area High School and Brandywine Heights Area High School is selected by school administrators each month throughout the school year for this award based collectively on academic achievement, school participation, and community contributions. This month the student from Kutztown Area High School was unable to attend.

Shown here is Maddyn Griech from the Brandywine Heights school district. She appears with her parents, Assistant Principal of the Brandywine Heights High School, and past President Marie DeFilipps. Maddyn addressed the club members at the Ceremony where she demonstrated qualities of an exemplary student. She also entertained questions from the club members and showed off her talents and abilities.

The ceremony normally occurs during the Kutztown Rotary meeting on the first Wednesday of the month at the Kutztown Tavern, where the weekly meetings for the club generally take place. We wish Maddyn the best of luck in her future endeavors.
