Members of the Kutztown Rotary Club enjoyed the festivities of the District 7430 Foundation Gala Saturday, March 5th. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the silent auction basket of cheer containing 2 tickets to the Taste of Kutztown Event on June 11. Members who attended the gala enjoyed an evening of fine food, fun dancing, and most of all a celebration of charity. Kutztown Club member District Governor Bob Hobaugh and wife Florita were honored with a major donor award.

The Tri-District Conference is coming up on April 22-24 at the Hershey Lodge, comprising Districts 7430, 7450, and 7475. With our own Bob Hobaugh as the 7430 District Governor, the Kutztown Club is putting in an effort to shine at the event. We are looking for members to help organize and man the hospitality suite and the house of inspiration table or volunteer to man the registration table or be an ambassador for the event. Along with many conference events of inspirational speakers, break out meetings, and a Saturday night dance party, there are lots of fun Hershey-themed activities in which to partake.

The Kutztown Rotary Club received the Kutztown Community Partnership Organization of the Year Award at KCP's February 2nd annual meeting. The award was received by Ellen and our club secretary and foundation president, Melissa Kirk. We are truly honored to be recognized by KCP and will strive to keep up our good work.
