Kutztown Rotary members were among 14 Rotarians from 7 clubs and 15 other volunteers cutting potatoes for seed planting for the Potato Project. In all, 65 bags of potatoes were cut to plant potatoes for food-insecure families spanning a 5-county region. IHartHarvest began a campaign to feed the hungry in our area in 2008 and the mission just keeps growing every year. Even more fun is picking potatoes during the harvest which begins in August.
